At the Stone County Historical Society’s quarterly meeting on March 9, 2025, Larry Smith, the recently retired manager of the North Central Arkansas Farmers Cooperative at Mountain View gave an interesting presentation about the history of the organization. A good crowd was in attendance to hear his stories. He was accompanied by the current manager of the Co-op, Shaun Smith.
