Stone County Historical Society is fortunate to have about 25 volunteers who serve in many capacities. Some of the most essential are the volunteers who serve on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday afternoons from 1-4pm as museum hosts. They are there to greet visitors, answer questions about museum exhibits, sell publications and DVDs, and provide information. We will be opening early April and a new addition to the SCHS complex that the visitor will find are signs such as this one that describe the contents of each area.
